Dos Pugs, Nini y Lea, fueron rescatados por LCHS y luego fueron transferidos a Canadá para ser adoptados. Su viaje fue posible gracias a un ángel de rescate de animales, Shelley Hewitt (la hija de nuestra voluntaria Varnita Hewitt). Cuando Shelley junto con sus hijos y cuatro perros de LCHS finalmente aterrizaron en Calgary después de un largo retraso, las carreteras se cerraron debido al hielo y la nieve y no pudieron continuar su viaje. Two pugs, Nini and Lea, were rescued by LCHS and then able to transfer to Canada to be adopted. Their trip was made possible thanks to an animal rescue angel, Shelley Hewitt (the daughter of our volunteer Varnita Hewitt). When Shelley together with her children and four dogs from LCHS finally landed in Calgary after a long delay, the roads were closed due to ice and snow and they could not continue their trip. They were able to book the last available hotel room near the airport but no taxi would take them, their luggage and the dogs. Finally, at 1:00 am, the airport shuttle helped get them to their hotel room. See the wonderful photos of their journey, their adoption and how they are now enjoying their forever home.
