Our mission is to end animal overpopulation by Education, Adoption, Spay and Neuter. We also work with government agencies to enact laws that promote the humane treatment of all animals.
Our animal care center is equipped to hold 78 cats and 70 dogs. We are always at full capacity with a waiting list. The newly elected Board of Directors and management team is committed to uphold our “no-kill” policy, and to making a real difference with education and outreach programs in the Los Cabos region.
Our clinic is staffed by skilled veterinarians, providing free sterilization surgeries for dogs and cats every Monday and Wednesday, and free sterilization clinics weekly in various locations around Los Cabos.
The veterinarians are also available to provide low-cost vaccinations and other medical treatment to pet owners in the area. Our prices are very reasonable, and this income helps to offset a small part of the cost of the hundreds of free sterilizations performed every month.
Monday through Saturday we welcome the public to visit between 8:30 am and 5:45 pm to meet adoptable dogs and cats. Our adoption team will assist in making the perfect choice of your next pet.
We are fortunate to have a great group of volunteers who help with fundraising, social media, events, marketing, dog walking and other important tasks. We are all part of the LCHS family working together to make a difference in our community.
